What is the cancellation policy?

What are the payment details?

  • When booking your on-court details and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 
  • If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor with Experience Travel.  
 

What is the number for a Racquets Travel Advisor?

What is the address to the main hotel?

    Check-in is at 4pm 
  • Check-out is at 11am 
  • Early and late check-outs can be requested, but they are not guaranteed.

Can I add my Omni Guest Select number to this reservation?

  • When booking through Experience Travel, we are unable to add your member number to your reservation due to the already discounted rate when bundling your on-court time and accommodations. 
 
Can I request a roll away bed? 
  • There is a $45 charge for a roll away bed, per evening, and they are only permitted in King rooms.

Does the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa allow pets? 
  • Yes, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is a pet friendly hotel for animals under 60 pounds. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $150 per reservation. Service animals accompanying guests with disabilities are always welcome and will not be required to pay the one-time pet charge (no documentation necessary). Read more of resort policies.

Can I ship a package to the Omni
  • Yes, you are able to ship packages to the Omni for your arrival. Experience Travel cannot assist or guarantee any packages are not lost in transit once signed in the mail room. If your name is not the primary name on the room reservation, the Omni will reject the package. For more information, please contact the Omni concierge.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
 
How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 
  • Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is located near the following airports:
    • About 18 miles (30 minutes) from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).
    • About 82 miles (1.5 hours) from San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
  • If you are going to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Experience Travel discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY).
  •  It is also very easy to get an Uber from the airport.
  
How can I get around the resort property? 
  •  Once you are on the property all amenities are located within a very short walking distance.  There is also a resort shuttle.

Does the resort offer valet or self-parking?
  • Omni Barton Creek only offers valet parking daily valet charge is $40 plus tax per night.

ON COURT DETAILS

What is the number for the pro shop? 
  • If you need to reach out directly to the pro shop with any questions, please call 512-329-4008. However, your Racquets Travel Advisor can coordinate any schedule changes for you.
​
Where are the courts located? 
  • The courts are located near the Clubhouse and Country Club. Walking trails will take you from the lobby to the courts. There is also a resort shuttle to take you to the courts.

How can I request lesson times or game matching services?
  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 
  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  
 
Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 
  • When booking your on-court details and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  
  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own. 
 
After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 
  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 
 
Is there a dress code on court?  
  • Appropriate court shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed.  
 
Are racquets available to demo?
  • Yes, our pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis raquets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

Do you want to add on golf to your stay?  
  • The Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa offers four golf courses in the heart of Austin's Hill Country. This can be added to your trip directly with the golf pro shop. The number to the Golf Pro Sho is: 512-329-4653.

What is the average weather in Austin Texas?
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, there is no bad time to visit Austin! During Spring and Fall months (March-May and September-November) you’ll enjoy mild temperatures and lower humidity levels during your stay, great for enjoying resort activities or venturing into the city. During Summer months (June – August) you will find so much to do around the resort from family friendly activities to food and music festivals. With mild Winter months (December – February) you can enjoy year-round golf and robust holiday events.

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 
  • If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled-on court time, the Director of Racquets will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed-on court time.
