What is the cancellation policy for custom trip? 

Cliff Drysdale Tennis and Lodging Cancellation Policies for SLS and Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar

  • Cancellations outside 14 days receive a 100% refund. 
  • Cancellations inside of 14 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total monies paid. 
  • Postponements inside 14 days and at least 7 days ahead of arrival date will receive a 100% credit for future use, valid for 365 days. 
  • Postponements inside 7 days will receive a 50% credit for future use, valid for 365 days.

  • Cancellations or postponements outside 21 days receive a 100% refund. 
  • Cancellations or postponements  inside of  21  days you will have a 3 night penalty.

What are the payment details?

  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 
  • If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your travel specialist with CDT.

What is the address to the main hotel?

  • One Baha Mar Blvd, Nassau, The Bahamas. Each hotel has their own separate entrance that will take you right to their hotel lobby for check-in.

Can I add my Hotel Select number to this reservation? 
  • Unfortunately, when booking through Cliff Drysdale Tennis, we are unable to add your member number to your reservation due to the already discounted rate when bundling your tennis and accommodations.
Can I request a roll away bed? 
  • Grand Hyatt - $50/night
  • SLS - $50/night
  • Rosewood - rollaway beds available for select room categories. Please reach out to your travel specialist to request this.
Does my room have irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, coffee makers and in-room deposit boxes? 
  • Yes, all guest rooms offer a variety of essential in-room amenities including irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, coffee makers, and in-room safety deposit. 
Does Baha Mar allow pets? 
  • Baha Mar is happy to welcome your traveling companions. To participate in the pet program, please inform the hotel you’ll have a pet (or pets) staying with you at least three days in advance of your arrival. Only dogs that are house broken and do not exceed 50 pounds or two dogs under a combined weight of 75 pounds are permitted. Two dogs per guest room or suite. 
  • To ensure a comfortable visit for all, guests are asked to adhere to the following guidelines: 
    • A one-time mandatory cleaning fee of $250 is assessed during a 1-6 night stay. 
    • A one-time mandatory cleaning fee of $300 is assessed during a stay of 7 nights or more. 
    • In addition, a credit card must be presented at the time of check in to guarantee against any damages or soiled carpets/soft goods in the room. Damages to the room will be billed on a case-by-case basis. 
    • Owner will provide a cell phone number in order to locate guest in event of an emergency. Under extreme circumstances dog may be moved to a kennel. 
    • Dogs must be settled by 9:30pm. 
    • We regret that pets are not allowed at the golf course or in the food and beverage outlets, health club, or pool areas of the hotel. Service animals are an exception to this policy. 
    • Dogs must be walked in designated areas. 
    • Any noise disturbance must be curtailed to ensure the comfort of other guests. 
    • Room attendants are not allowed to enter guest rooms with pets, unless the occupant is present. For your convenience, please call housekeeping to arrange a suitable time to have your room services.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 
How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 
  • Transportation Baha Mar is located 15 minutes from the Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS). The resort does offer private airport transportation, and you can reserve it online here: https://bahamar.com/transportation/   
  • It is also easy to get a taxi from the airport to the resort as well. Please be aware that the local taxi’s only accept cash. 
Does the resort offer valet or self parking?
  • Valet parking and self parking are available at the resort 24 hours at an extra cost. 
What are some tips for traveling internationally?
  • Both US and Bahamas Immigration Laws require all travelers to have a valid passport. 
  • You might need to add international calling to your cell phone plan prior to arriving in the Bahamas. 
  • Take the following steps to make the most of your credit card(s) while traveling to the Bahamas: 
    • ​Notify all of your issuing banks you’ll be traveling to the Bahamas and the dates you’ll be traveling on before you leave to ensure access to your funds. 
    • Check with your issuing banks to see whether your ATM or Credit card is subject to daily spending or withdrawal restrictions while abroad. 
    • Be sure you know your PIN for your debt or credit cards so you can get local currency from ATMs worldwide. 
TENNIS DETAILS 
What is the number for the tennis pro shop? 
  • If you need to reach out directly to the tennis pro shop with any questions, please call 242-788-7880 
Where are the courts located? 
  • The tennis courts are a short walk from the main resort. When you are walking, go through the casino towards Pizza Lab. You will go down the escalator, out the main doors, and follow the sidewalk left. The pond with fountains will be on your right.
How can I request lesson times or game matching services?
  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 
  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  
 
Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 
  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  
  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own
 
After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 
  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your tennis travel concierge from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 
Are rackets available to demo?
  • Yes, our tennis pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for demo.

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 
  • If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled tennis, the Director of Tennis will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed tennis.
