What is the cancellation policy for custom trip? 

• Cancellations outside 14 days receive a 100% refund. 

• Cancellations inside of 14 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total monies paid. 

• Postponements inside 14 days and at least 4 days ahead of arrival date will receive a 100% credit for future use, valid for 365 days. 

• Postponements inside 4 days will receive a 50% credit for future use, valid for 365 days.

 

What are the payment details?

• When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 

• If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your travel specialist with CDT.

CHECK-IN AND ACCOMMODATION DETAILS 

What is the address to the main hotel?

• Check-in is at 4pm 

• Check-out is at 11am 

• Early and late check-outs can be requested, but they are not guaranteed. 

 

Can I request a roll away bed? 

• Roll away/extra beds are available for $20 per night, and they are only permitted in King size rooms in the main hotel.

Does my room have a fridge, coffee maker, iron or dryer? 

• Rooms have a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, iron/iron board, hair dryer and microwave.

Does Chateau Elan allow pets? 

• Chateau Elan welcomes pets with a weight limit of 50 lbs per pet – maximum occupancy per room is two pets. A $150 cleaning fee will be applied to your guest room, per pet, per stay. Pets are not allowed in the Spa, Winery, at the pool, or in any food and beverage outlets. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, and supervised at all times while in public areas, with no exceptions. Can I ship a package to the Chateau Elan? 

• Yes, the you are able to ship packages to the Chateau for your arrival. CDT cannot assist or guarantee any packages are not lost in transit once signed in the mail room. If your name is not the primary name on the room reservation, the Chateau will reject the package. For more information, please contact the concierge.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 

How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 

• Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is located 45 minutes north of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). The resort does not offer direct transportation to and from the airport, however there are private shuttles available through Cooper-Global Chauffeured Transportation. All major rental car agencies are located at ATL and reservations in advance are typically inexpensive. If you are doing to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Cliff Drysdale Tennis discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY).  It is also very easy to get an Uber from the airport. We recommend scheduling your Uber in advance when leaving Chateau Elan, as there are limited Ubers in the area.    

  

How can I get around the resort property? 

• Most everything on the resort is a very close walking distance. You would need to ride a shuttle or drive to the golf pro shop, as it is not within walking distance.

Does the resort offer valet or self parking?

• Uncovered onsite valet parking (USD 40.00 per day; includes in/out privileges) 

• Wheelchair-accessible parking and van parking on site 

• The resort has electric charging stations on property.

TENNIS DETAILS 

What is the number for the tennis pro shop? 

• If you need to reach out directly to the tennis pro shop with any questions, please call 325-212-0615.

Where are the courts located? 

• The tennis courts are just off the central plaza and are very accessible from all areas of the resort. When you walk out of the main hotel lobby, go right. You will pass Paddy's Irish Pub. Keep walking and the tennis center will be on your left just down the hill.

How can I request lesson times or game matching services?

• When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 

• Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  

 

Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 

• When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  

• If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own. 

 

After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 

• Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your tennis travel concierge from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 

 

Is there a dress code at Racquet Park?  

• Tennis shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed.  

 

Are rackets available to demo?

• Yes, our tennis pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

Do you want to add on golf to your stay?

WINERY

What are the hours of operation? 

• The Winery Is open Mon-Thurs 12:00pm-7:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-8:00pm, Sun 11:00am-6:00pm.

Do I need to purchase wine tasting tickets in advance?

• It is not necessary to purchase a tasting in advance, but you can purchase tickets in advance here. Tickets are $48 per person.

How can I schedule a group tour and tasting? 

• Reserve your spot in advance here. Group Tour and tasting is priced at $45 per person. Tours have a maximum of 30 people. “Grandeur Tour and Tastings” are priced at $90 per person. You can find more information here.

FOOD OPTIONS 

What are the reservation information for meals on the property? 

• Please click on the links to view menus, pricing, or make reservations. We recommend making reservations early, as peak times due sell out far in advance.

• Marc Restaurant - This is the most upscale dining option with a rotating seasonal menu. Reservations are required. You can make reservations here

• Versailles Restaurant & Bar - Upscale casual dining set inside the signature glass-top atrium in the center of the resort. Reservations are required. You can reserve here.  

• Louis' House of Bourbon  - This “speakeasy” lounge has a small menu and collection of bucket-list bourbons. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat, have a drink, or go to after dinner for a fun lively atmosphere. Reservations not required.  

• Paddy's Irish Pub - Casual dining with great burgers and pub menu. They often have live music at night. Reservations not required.   

• Sarazen's Bar & Grille  - A short drive from the resort, this casual dining option overlooks the golf course on an open-air covered porch. Reservations not required.  

• Fleur De Lis, located in the Spa Mansion serving lighter brunch style fair from 9am-12pm daily.

What are the reservation information for meals off property? 

• Cotton Calf Kitchen  - A nice restaurant off property that is a similar menu and atmosphere to Marc. We would recommend making reservations in advance. This is in Braselton. 

• Houndstooth Grill & Bar: Home  - Located just up the road from the resort.   

• La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant - A Mexican restaurant which is 10 mins from the resort.    

• You can also ask your coaches for local recommendations upon arrival too.

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 

• If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled tennis, the Director of Tennis will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed tennis.
