What are the payment details?

  • When booking your racquets on-court details and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The hold amount on your card will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges.

  • If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor.

What are the check-in details?

  • Check-in begins at 4:00pm and takes place at the front desk in the main lobby.
    Upon arrival, please check in with the front desk. If your room is not yet ready, the front desk team will place you in the queue and notify you as soon as your accommodations become available.

What are the check-out details?

  • Check-out is at 11am. Please note that late check-out requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability on the day of departure. If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact the front desk on the morning of your departure to check availability.

Does the La Qunita Reosrt and Club allow pets?

  • Yes, the resort does allow dogs. A $150 non-refundable pet fee per stay will be applied. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed on any pool decks or areas, including Main and Plunge Pools. The PAWS La Quinta Canine Experience includes a curated PupJoy welcome amenity with treats and toys to help pamper your pup during your stay.

How does the transportation to and from the airport work?

  • The La Qunita Resort and Club is located 22 miles from the Palm Springs Airport (PSP), 88 miles from the Ontario International Airport (ONT), and 142 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The resort does not offer direct transportation to and from the airport, however all major rental car agencies are located at LAX and PSP. If you are going to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for an Experience Travel discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY)

Does the resort offer valet or self-parking?

  • Self parking is available $25 per vehicle, per night; Valet parking is available $30 per vehicle, per night

Where are the courts located?

  • The courts are a short walk from the lobby on the west side of the property by the main pool and spa.

How can I request lesson times or game matching services?

  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible.

  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.

Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own?

  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.

  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own.

After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons?

  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability.

Are racquets available to demo?

  • Yes, our pro shop offers racquets rentals for $10. 

Is there a dress code at the courts?

  • Please bring proper court shoes and tennis attire. La Quinta has a warm, dry desert climate, though temperatures can vary throughout the day. We recommend lightweight clothing, sun protection, and layers for cooler mornings and evenings. If you plan to play more than once per day, consider bringing multiple tennis outfits.

Do you want to add on golf to your stay?

Does the resort offer childcare?

What is the average weather in 

  • La Quinta, California offers a prime desert resort climate that is highly seasonal, making it a spectacular market for premium winter tennis packages (October-Early May) but incredibly challenging for summer outdoor (Late May-September) travel.

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip?

  • The destination features over 300 days of annual sunshine and virtually zero rain disruption, making weather cancellations exceptionally rare. We will issue a refund for any missed on court time.
