TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

How does the transportation to and from the airport work?
  • The Omni Amelia Island Resort is located 29 miles northeast of the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). The resort does not offer direct transportation to and from Jacksonville International Airport. Lyft and Uber are easy to get from the airport to the hotel, but harder to arrange from the hotel to the airport due to fewer drivers on the remote island. For iPhone users WRYD is a ride-share app that connects riders with local transportation companies, offering a convenient and affordable way to get around—especially in areas where major apps like Uber or Lyft may have limited availability. There are private shuttles or taxi services available through East Coast Transportation, Amelia Island Airport Transportation, and Blue Sky. All major rental car agencies are located at JAX and reservations in advance are typically inexpensive. If you are going to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Experience Travel discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY).

How can I get around the resort property?

  • The resort is a large property spread out along the beach. Guests can walk along the hiking paths or ride the complimentary shuttle to anywhere on the resort.

  • Other guests choose to rent bikes or golf cards from Amelia Wheels. More information is online here. You can reserve golf carts online or call at: 904-277-5120. Get a 15% discount using code CDTCART.

Does the resort offer valet or self-parking?
  • Self-parking is available at the main hotel for $25/night. Valet parking is available for $40/night. The resort has Tesla charging stations available on the property.

What do the daily morning tennis clinics from 9-10 and 10-11am focus on?

We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.

  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own due to resort rules.

After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons?
