What are the payment details?

  • When booking your racquets on court details and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

How does the transportation to and from the airport work?

  • Stratton Mountain Resort is located 1.5-hours from Albany International Airport. Get driving directions here from the east, north, south, and west. If you are going to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Experience Member discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY).

How can I get around the resort property? 

  • Seasonal shuttles are available to the ski slopes in the winter from all accommodations booked through Experience Travel. For guests visiting in the summer, everything is within a 5–10-minute walk, or parking is available near the village and the Stratton Sports Center if you drive your own car. 

Does the resort offer valet or self-parking?

  • When booking your lodging through Experience Travel, you will have self-parking included at your accommodations. Accommodations do not offer valet parking.

ON-COURT DETAILS

What is the number for the racquets pro shop?

  • If you need to reach out directly to the pro shop with any questions, please call 805-297-4230, however your Racquets Travel Advisor can coordinate your racquets directly.

Where are the courts located?

  • The Stratton Training and Fitness Center is located on the property and is a short walk from both Black Bear Lodge and Long Trail House. You can walk from your lodging/the villas through Parking Lot 1 through a small, short trail to get to the sports center.

How can I request lesson times and match play?

  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible.

  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.

Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own?

  • When booking your on-court details and accommodations through Experience Travel you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.

  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own due to resort rules.

After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons?

  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability.

Is there a dress code on the courts?

  • Appropriate court shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed. 

Are racquets available to demo?

  • Yes, our pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis racquets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

Do you want to add on golf to your stay?

  • Stratton Mountain has multiple golf courses. This can be added to your trip directly with the golf pro shop. View the Stratton Mountain Golf webpage here. You can book your tee time here. The number to the Golf Pro Sho is: 1-800-787-2886.


Does the resort offer childcare?

  • Stratton's fully licensed childcare program offers a full day of fun in a perfect play environment for ages 6 Weeks to 3.5 years old. Reservations must be made in advance and are based on availability seasonally. For more information, please go online here. Stratton also offers seasonal children camps that include tennis camp, ski camp, and activity camp.

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip?

  • In the event that we experience brief thunderstorms or inclement weather, we will do everything we can to play. This includes adjusting the times and days of the classes to fit them all in or moving to the indoor courts.  If we are unable to offer you the opportunity to complete your camp during your stay, we will offer you a refund for the value of the missed on court time.
