What are the payment details?

  • When booking your racquets on court details and accommodations through Experience Travel, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor.

What is the address to the main hotel? 5 Village Lodge Rd., Stratton Mountain, Vermont 05155 ​ What are the check-in details? Check in for lodging guests, please see below for check-in information at either the Welcome Center or Black Bear Lodge depending on your time of arrival. Even if you are staying in Long Trail, you might pick up your keys at the lobby of Black Bear if you are arriving outside normal business hours. Black Bear Lodge is open 24/7. For hours and operation for all resort details, please go online here. Check-in for Long Trail and Black Bear lodging is at 4:30pm. Early check-ins are based on availability and not guaranteed. If you are not able to get an early check-in, the front desk at Black Bear will be happy to hold your luggage while you begin to enjoy the resort amenities. Reminder, Black Bear Lodge provides a continental breakfast daily in the lobby at Table 43.1 Please note that early check-in cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability at the time of your arrival. Upon arrival, please check in with the front desk. If your room is not yet ready, the front desk team will place you in the queue and notify you as soon as your accommodations become available. ​ What are the check-out details? Check-out is at 11:00am. Late check-outs are based on availability and requests must be made on the day of check-out at the front desk. If you are not able to get an early check-out, the racquets center can hold your luggage and has a full locker room with showers. ​ ​Please note that late check-out requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability on the day of departure. If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact the front desk on the morning of your departure to check availability. If a late check-out is unavailable, the front desk or racquets center can store your luggage while you continue to enjoy the resort's amenities Need an Extra Night? Does the Stratton Mountain Resort allow pets? Black Bear Lodge offers a limited number or rooms for guests traveling with pets for an additional fee of $50 per night. Pets are not permitted in Long Trail House rooms. Where is the map of the resort? Black Bear Lodge Long Trail House
What is the number for the racquets pro shop? If you need to reach out directly to the pro shop with any questions, please call 805-297-4230, however your Racquets Travel Advisor can coordinate your racquets directly. Where are the courts located? The Stratton Training and Fitness Center is located on the property and is a short walk from both Black Bear Lodge and Long Trail House. You can walk from your lodging/the villas through Parking Lot 1 through a small, short trail to get to the sports center. How can I request lesson times and match play? When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well. Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? When booking your on-court details and accommodations through Experience Travel you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring. If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own due to resort rules. After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your Racquets Travel Advisor, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. Is there a dress code on the courts? Appropriate court shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed. Are racquets available to demo? Yes, our pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis racquets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.
Do you want to add on golf to your stay? Stratton Mountain has multiple golf courses. This can be added to your trip directly with the golf pro shop. View the Stratton Mountain Golf webpage here. You can book your tee time here. The number to the Golf Pro Sho is: 1-800-787-2886. Does the resort offer childcare? Stratton's fully licensed childcare program offers a full day of fun in a perfect play environment for ages 6 Weeks to 3.5 years old. Reservations must be made in advance and are based on availability seasonally. For more information, please go online here. Stratton also offers seasonal children camps that include tennis camp, ski camp, and activity camp. What other activities does Stratton Mountain offer? Massages are available at the Stratton Training and Fitness Center. Call the Stratton Training and Fitness Center to schedule your massage in advance. What are the dining options on the property? The Fire Tower Restaurant and Tavern: Date night or dinner with the family T Bar: Great for tapas and small bites! Benedict’s Eatery and Bar: best for brunch! Mulligan’s: great daily specials like lobsters and ½ price bottles of wine, especially over summer! ​ What are the dining options off the property? Honeypie: well worth the 10-minute drive down the mountain for great burgers & fries! Thai Basil (Manchester) The Yard at the Crooked Ram (summer only) There are many more local spots.
