RESERVATION DETAILS 

What is the cancellation policy for custom trip? 

  • Cancellations outside 14 days receive a 100% refund. 
  • Cancellations inside of 14 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total monies paid. 
  • Postponements inside 14 days and at least 4 days ahead of arrival date will receive a 100% credit for future use, valid for 365 days. 
  • Postponements inside 4 days will receive a 50% credit for future use, valid for 365 days 
 

What are the payment details?

  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 
  • If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your travel specialist with CDT.

CHECK-IN AND ACCOMMODATION DETAILS 

What is the address to the main hotel?

  • 61 Hawks Cay Boulevard, Duck Key, FL 33050
  • Check-in is at 4pm.
  • Check-out is at 11am.
  • Early and late check-outs can be requested, but they are not guaranteed. 
 
Can I request a roll away bed? 
  • They do not offer roll away beds.

Does my room have a fridge and coffee?
  • Your room will have a mini-fridge and Keurig.
 
Does Hawks Cay Resort allow pets? 
  • Unfortunately, your animals have to stay home; the resort is not pet-friendly. Only ADA-approved Service Animals are permitted on resort property. Click Here for more information on how a service animal is defined.
 
Can I ship a package to Hawks Cay? 
  • Yes, you are able to ship packages to Hawks Cay Resort for your arrival. CDT cannot assist or guarantee any packages are not lost in transit once signed in the mail room. If your name is not the primary name on the room reservation, the hotel will reject the package. For more information, please contact the Hawks Cay directly.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 
How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 
  • Transportation Hawks Cay Resort is in the middle of the Florida Keys, 60 miles north of the Key West Airport (EYW) and 90 miles south of the Miami International Airport (MIA). All major rental car agencies are located at EYW and MIA, and reservations in advance are typically inexpensive .If you are doing to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Cliff Drysdale Tennis discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY). How can I get around the resort property? 
  • The resort offers a complimentary Tram Service that will transport your anywhere on property, or you can take advantage of the Bicycle rental at the Coral Clay Club located on the main drive before the main resort. Everything is within walking distance.

Does the resort offer valet or self parking?
  • The resort offers complimentary self-parking for all resort guests. Valet parking is available for $25.

TENNIS DETAILS 
What is the number for the tennis pro shop? 
  • If you need to reach out directly to the tennis pro shop with any questions, please call 350-743-7000 x1571. 
 
Where are the courts located? 
  • The tennis shop at Hawks Cay is located just outside of the main hotel across the street from Marina Villas. The resort offers a complimentary Tram Service that will transport you anywhere on property, or you can take advantage of our Bicycle rental at the Coral Cay Club located on the main drive before the main resort.
 
How can I request lesson times or game matching services?
  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 
  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  
 
Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 
  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  
  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own. 
 
After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 
  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your tennis travel concierge from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 
 
Is there a dress code at Racquet Park?  
  • Tennis shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed.  
 
Are rackets available to demo?
  • Yes, our tennis pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

How many courts are there?
  • The Signature Cliff Drysdale-designed racquet facility offers 2 Har Tru tennis courts, 2 Hard tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts. 
​
Is there a locker room at the tennis courts?
  • No, there are restrooms, but not a full locker room at the tennis shop.

What is the average weather in Duck Key?

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 
  • If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled tennis, the Director of Tennis will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed tennis.
