RESERVATION DETAILS 

What is the cancellation policy for custom trip? 

  • Cancellations outside 14 days receive a 100% refund. 
  • Cancellations inside of 14 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total monies paid. 
  • Postponements inside 14 days and at least 4 days ahead of arrival date will receive a 100% credit for future use, valid for 365 days. 
  • Postponements inside 4 days will receive a 50% credit for future use, valid for 365 days.
 

What are the payment details?

  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 
  • If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your travel specialist with CDT.

What is the address to the main hotel?

  • 41000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 
  • Check-in is at 4pm 
  • Check-out is at 11am 
  • Early and late check-outs can be requested, but they are not guaranteed.

Can I add my Omni Guest Select number to this reservation?

  • Unfortunately, when booking through Cliff Drysdale Tennis, we are unable to add your member number to your reservation due to the already discounted rate when bundling your tennis and accommodations. 
 
Can I request a roll away bed? 
  • There is a $35 charge for a roll away bed, and they are only permitted in King size rooms.

Does my room have a fridge, coffee, washer or dryer? 
  • Each room in the hotel has a coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board,

Does the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa allow pets? 
 
Can I ship a package to the Omni? 
  • Yes, the you are able to ship packages to the Omni for your arrival. CDT cannot assist or guarantee any packages are not lost in transit once signed in the mail room. If your name is not the primary name on the room reservation, the Omni will reject the package. For more information, please contact the Omni concierge.

What is the map of the resort?

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 
How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 
  • The Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort is located 120 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), 11 miles from the Palm Springs Airport (PSP) and 70 miles from Ontario Airport. The resort does not offer direct transportation to and from the airport, however all major rental car agencies are located at LAX and PSP. If you are going to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Cliff Drysdale Tennis discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY). It is also very easy to get an Uber from the airport. 
 
How can I get around the resort property? 
  • The resort does offer on-property transportation, but it is also very easy to get around the resort by foot.

Does the resort offer valet or self parking?
  • There is complimentary valet throughout your stay. Overnight Parking is $10 per night, included in resort service fee. The resort has Tesla charging stations and electric vehicle charging stations.

TENNIS DETAILS 
What is the number for the tennis pro shop? 
  • If you need to reach out directly to the tennis pro shop with any questions, please call 760-862-4531 
 
Where are the courts located? 
  • The tennis courts are located at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Country Club. It would be about a 5-10 minute walk depending on the location of your room on property. This is a ½ mile walk east of the resort through buildings 19 and 21. You will follow the pathway to the tennis courts and pro shop. For a resort map, please go online here. We do offer a complimentary shuttle service departing from the hotel lobby, however we recommend walking when possible.
 
How can I request lesson times or game matching services?
  • When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 
  • Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  
 
Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 
  • When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  
  • If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own
 
After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 
  • Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your tennis travel concierge from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 
 
Is there a dress code at Racquet Park?  
  • Tennis shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed.  
 
Are rackets available to demo?
  • Yes, our tennis pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

How many courts are there?
  • The Signature Cliff Drysdale-designed racquet facility offers 18 tennis courts and 8 pickle ball courts.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE ON THE RESORT 
Do you want to add on golf to your stay?  
  • The Omni Rancho Las Palmas has three distinct nine-hole layouts, North Course, South Course and West Course. This can be added to your trip directly with the golf pro shop. View the Omni Rancho Las Palmas tee times here. The number to the Golf Pro Shop is: 760-568-2727

What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 
  • If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled tennis, the Director of Tennis will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed tennis.
