What is the cancellation policy for custom trip? 

• Cancellations outside 14 days receive a 100% refund. 

• Cancellations inside of 14 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total monies paid. 

• Postponements inside 14 days and at least 4 days ahead of arrival date will receive a 100% credit for future use, valid for 365 days. 

• Postponements inside 4 days will receive a 50% credit for future use, valid for 365 days 

 

What are the payment details?

• When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are prepaid in full for your trip, except for incidentals. When you check-in at the front desk, you will be required to put a card on file for incidentals. The resort will put a hold amount of $300 on your card which will drop off upon check-out minus any incidental charges. 

• If you have any questions regarding your incidental charges, please contact the front desk at check-out. If you still have questions upon leaving the resort, reach out to your travel specialist with CDT.

CHECK-IN AND ACCOMMODATION DETAILS 

What is the address to the main hotel?

• 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne, FL 33149

• Check-in is at 4pm 

• Check-out is at 11am 

• Early and late check-outs can be requested, but they are not guaranteed.

Can I add my Ritz-Carlton Select number to this reservation?

• Unfortunately, when booking through Cliff Drysdale Tennis, we are unable to add your member number to your reservation due to the already discounted rate when bundling your tennis and accommodations. 

 

Can I request a roll away bed? 

• There is a $50 charge for a roll away bed, and they are only permitted in King-bedded rooms and/or suites.

Can I get connecting rooms?

• Yes, connecting rooms are available upon request. Only 1 King/2 Queen combinations are available for connecting rooms.

Does my room have a fridge, coffee, washer or dryer? 

• Your room will have a mini-fridge and coffee maker. Laundry service is provided for a fee by calling the front desk.

 

Does The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Resort allow pets? 

• The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne welcomes dogs of 25lbs and requires advance registration. A $250 non-refundable one-time fee, and a $20 USD fee, daily will be charged. Pet friendly accommodations are located on lower floors of the resort. With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in any area where food and beverage are served, the spa and fitness center, pool and beach areas, or the Club Lounge floor. Can I ship a package to The Ritz? 

• Yes, the you are able to ship packages to The Ritz-Carlton for your arrival. CDT cannot assist or guarantee any packages are not lost in transit once signed in the mail room. If your name is not the primary name on the room reservation, the hotel will reject the package. For more information, please contact The Ritz-Carlton concierge. 

 

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 

How does the transportation to and from the airport work? 

• The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne is located 14 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA) and 35 miles from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport (FLL). All major rental car agencies are located at MIA and FLL. If you are doing to rent a car, please try Enterprise or National for a Cliff Drysdale Tennis discount (https://legacy.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?bid=028&refId=CLIFFDRY). For assistance with private transportation arrangements through Aventura Limousine or for general transportation inquiries, please call the concierge at 305-365-4135. It is also very easy to get an Uber from the MIA or FLL airport.

 

How can I get around the resort property? 

• The property is all walk able. If walking assistance is needed, please let the front desk know and they will provide assistance.  

 

Does the resort offer valet or self parking?

• Valet parking only is available for $50/overnight; $30/day rate. This fee will be added to your card on file for incidentals.    

 

TENNIS DETAILS 

What is the number for the tennis pro shop? 

• If you need to reach out directly to the tennis pro shop with any questions, please call 305-365-4300. 

 

Where are the courts located? 

• The address to the tennis courts is 415 Grand Bay Dr, Key Biscayne, FL 33149.

• The tennis courts are a short walk from the hotel. You will pass them on your right as you drive through the gate to the hotel lobby. 

 

How can I request lesson times or game matching services?

• When registering, please outline your preferred times for lessons each day. We do our best to accommodate them based on availability with our staff for each day throughout your trip. We cannot guarantee your preferred time, but we will get as close as possible. 

• Our coaches are happy to help game arrange with other resort guests and locals during your trip. We cannot guarantee any specific match ups until you have arrived. We always recommend talking to guests in the morning clinics, as they are typically looking for more play as well.  

 

Can I add on court reservations for additional play on my own? 

• When booking your tennis and accommodations through CDT, you are able to reserve courts for additional play on your own at no additional cost. We can accommodate up to 2 hours/group/day. Requests can be made prior to arriving and are based on availability at the time of inquiring.  

• If booking your accommodations separately, you are unable to reserve courts to play on your own. 

 

After booking, can I add on additional clinics and lessons? 

• Yes. Even after booking, please reach out to your tennis travel concierge from your original quote, and they are happy to look at adding on additional clinics or lessons at the a la carte rate. Adding on clinics and lessons are based on availability. 

 

Is there a dress code at Racquet Park?  

• Tennis shoes are required on the courts, but clothes of any color are allowed.  

 

Are rackets available to demo?

• Yes, our tennis pro shop offers a variety of Head tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for demo, and they are full service with stringing.

How many courts are there?

• The Signature Cliff Drysdale-designed racquet facility offers 10 Har Tru tennis courts and 3 state of the art Padel courts.

Is there a locker room at the tennis courts?

• Yes, there is a lockers room and showers at the tennis center.

What are the reservation information for meals on the property?

• Dune Burgers on the Beach - Steps from the resort’s adults-only pool, this oceanfront lounge offers gourmet burgers and an extensive selection of bubbly and beer.  Reservations are not necessary. Full service 11:00am-7:00pm.

• Cantina Beach - Mexico has arrived in Miami at this oceanfront restaurant. Tacos, enchiladas, fajitas and salads are complemented by a selection of 110 premium tequilas.  Reservations are recommended for dinner. • Lightkeepers  - The menu at this oceanfront restaurant highlights Florida-found ingredients including seafood, cheese and beef. What are the off property recommendations?

• Popular restaurants on Key Biscayne include Novecento (Italian and also has a location in Brickell just over the bridge), Kebo (Mediterranean spot with tapas), or the Rusty Pelican (has a great view overlooking downtown Miami at night!). Other options in downtown Brickell would provide you an atmosphere with some nightlife are Dolores but You Can Call Me Lolita, Marion, Komodo, or the River Seafood Oyster Bar. What if it rains or we experience inclement weather throughout our trip? 

• If rain or weather affects any of the scheduled tennis, the Director of Tennis will do their best to reschedule while you are there. If they are unable to do so, we will issue a refund for any missed tennis.
